ABOUT BULLDOG BASH™
Bulldog Bash™ is a free event held each fall in the Historic Cotton District that features an MSU
Football Dawg Rally, FanFare and live music on several stages. The festival draws around 35,000 visitors and is held on a Friday night before one of the SEC MSU home football games.
The concert has been branded as “Mississippi’s
Largest Free Outdoor Concert Event!” Past
performers include Jason Mraz, Third Eye Blind, Gavin Degraw, Matt Wertz, Sister Hazel, Big Daddy Weave, Patrick Smith Band, Daybreakdown, Edwin McCain, Eric Church, Bobby Valentino, and many more.

Bulldog Bash™ Through the Years
Bulldog Bash™ was created in 1999 to help kick off SEC football play for the Mississippi State University Bulldog's and is designed to bring the University Student Body, Alumni and the community together in one night of fun. Since it's inception nine years ago, Bulldog Bash™ has strived to be the most successful student led concert event in the entire southeast. In it's initial year, Bulldog Bash™ drew a crowd of around 2,000, but has grown tremendously throughout it's 11 year history. Bulldog Bash™ now hosts crowds exceeding 35,000 students, alumni and fans of the MSU Bulldogs.

“The once obscure Cotton District has attracted nationwide acclaim and is one of the most charming areas in the state. The architectural styles include New Orleans, Savannah, Charleston, and Byzantine, and the buildings are crowded together on narrow streets. Colorful facades, beautiful landscaping, fountains, courtyards hidden behind graceful gates, and brick-paved walkways are all things visitors will find if they take the time to explore this little area on foot. The narrow streets intentionally encourage walking and discourage driving. Parking is either in back of the units or on the sides, hidden behind the prolific landscaping.”

Bullodg Bash™ takes place in the heart of the Cotton District with the Main Stage being located at the intersection of University Drive and Maxwell Street.
