In 2009, the Student Association brought mobile fund-raising to the state of
Mississippi for the first time through Bulldog Bash! Through that event, over $7,000 was donated to the United Way of North Central Mississippi. For Bulldog Bash 2011, the fund-raising efforts will return in a new and exciting way!
"GIVE GOOD. GET GOOD. WITH THE CHANGEMOB.COM"
Bulldog Bash™ 2011 has partnered with the ChangeMob.com to raise money for the MSU Student Relief Fund.
Check out how you can benefit the MSU Relief Fund:
What is the MSU Student Relief Fund?
In 2005 in the wake of Hurricane Katrina, a relief fund was put into place at Mississippi State to benefit students in need. The fund provides MSU students with basic needs when tragedy strikes.
The MSU Student Relief Fund has recently been used to benefit students who suffered tragedies in the Smithville and Tuscaloosa tornadoes as well as apartment fires in the Starkville community. Students in need can apply for funds through the Dean of Students office on campus, and funds are given based on level of need.
100% of every donation given to the MSU Student Relief Fund goes to benefit those in need, there are no administrative or other expenses used with money from this fund.
