| In 2009, the Student Association brought mobile fundraising to the state of Mississippi for the first time through Bulldog Bash! Prior to the event, a competition was created on campus in which organizations competed to see who could raise the most money for the United Way to add to the amount rasied the night of Bulldog Bash. Prior to the performance of Third Eye Blind, the crowd was asked to take out their cell phones and were given the opportunity to donate $5 to the United Way through text message donations. Overall, the event was able to raise $7,381 for the United Way of North Central Mississippi. |
